C6 — THE GRIP

Release → Understanding → Identity

Your body isn't confused. It already knows. It just won't let you say it.

And the place where that knowing gets buried is C6.

C6 is the sixth cervical vertebra — sitting just above the prominent knob at the base of your neck, adjacent to the carotid pulse. It is the vertebra closest to your own heartbeat. It governs the tonsils, the lower larynx, the lateral arm and wrist through the radial nerve — the structures of reach, grasp, and release. And it sits at the bridge between two centers: the throat above, where choice is spoken, and the solar plexus below, where choice originates in will and self-trust.

C6 is where knowing becomes choosing.

When C6 is free, what you know travels without resistance into a clear yes or a clear no. The compass needle settles. The direction is audible. The choice lands — in your body, in your voice, in the world.

When C6 is blocked, the compass spins. The knowing is there — it has always been there. But something between knowing and saying keeps the choice in suspension. The deliberation that should take minutes takes months. The yes said when the body means no accumulates into chronic depletion. The direction clear inside becomes unclear the moment it needs to be voiced.

You feel it as:

  • knowing what you want to choose — and consistently not choosing it
  • exhaustion without clear cause — the hidden cost of maintaining ambivalence
  • a yes said from guilt that leaves you depleted afterward
  • recurring tonsil or throat sensitivity, especially when a difficult choice is approaching
  • neck stiffness that restricts in one direction — often the direction of the avoided decision
  • wrist, thumb, or forearm tension — the structures of reaching that have stopped reaching
  • the inner fog of chronic deliberation — options reviewed endlessly, resolution never arriving
  • procrastination on choices rather than tasks — the loop that won't close

C6 doesn't just affect your neck. It affects your ability to trust your own knowing enough to act on it.

This page is not about fixing symptoms. It's about restoring the compass — so the direction you already know can become the choice you actually make.

THE C6 PATH: THREE DEPTHS OF INTEGRATION

C6 work unfolds in three natural phases. Not because of a model — because this is how the nervous system actually integrates change.

You don't have to decide anything upfront. You simply start where your body is.

How This Is Meant To Be Used

You don't "choose a level."

You enter C6 and your body shows you how deep it wants to go.

Some people only need Level 1. Others naturally move into Level 2. And some feel the pull toward full integration.

There is no hierarchy. No rush. No pressure.

Only alignment.

C6 is called Choosing From Your Core for a reason.

When communication here is restored:

the compass settles the knowing speaks the choice lands

You stop maintaining the ambivalence and start walking the direction.

Your body is ready.

The question is not if this works.

The question is:

What do you already know — and how long are you willing to keep not choosing it?
